The 18th ECMI modelling week will be held at Lappeenranta University of Technology on 13-21 of August 2004. About 40 students from across Europe are expected come together to learn industrial mathematics in this problem solving workshop. During the training students will get experience about mathematical modelling and work in multi-national teams.

The organising group in Lappeenranta will give their best to make this modelling week an enjoyable and useful experience for all. Our university is situated in the famous Lake District of Eastern Finland, about 220 kilometers from Helsinki.
